The attack in Abyei, which borders Western Kordofan, took place on Monday around 11:30 local time (0930 GMT) against the Amiet market, about 10 kilometers (six miles) from the town of Abyei, the region’s Information Minister Yohana Akol Ngor told Radio Tamazuj, which broadcasts from the Netherlands to audiences on the border between Sudan and South Sudan.
