Tofu recalled in 29 states, including throughout Tri-State, for contamination

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Tofu has been recalled in 29 states, including the Tri-State, because it may be contaminated with ink. According to a Food and Drug Administration recall enforcement report, more than 10,000 boxes of tofu produced by Hodo and sold in 29 states were recalled because they were chemically contaminated with ink. The specific product affected by the recall is: “hodo CHILI CRISP LIGHTLY FRIED TOFU. NET WT 8oz., UPC 850565007842” Customers who purchased the affected item should not consume it, but should discard it or return it to the place of purchase.
