Double murder-suicide mother saw daughter chased by father before being killed Posted September 25, 2026 6:00 pm PDT An Australian man was caught on camera chasing his young daughter around a house in Indonesia before killing her, his son and himself. Laura, 4, and Archie, 6, and their 56-year-old father, Damien John Shaw, were found dead in a house in southern Bali after their mother asked a worker to check on them… according to Australian media. The mother was reportedly out of town and became concerned when she could hear her daughter crying while on the phone with Shaw before the call was disconnected. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, he then checked the home’s CCTV camera and watched helplessly as Shaw “chased” Laura. The young girl was reportedly screaming “I love you, dad” as her father chased her. Police speculate that Archie was already dead at that time.
