America runs on Dunkin’ Donuts… but customers at one particular store may want to run elsewhere to buy coffee, because an employee was caught washing his feet in the sink. Here’s the deal… A TikTok video went viral earlier this month after a horrified customer filmed a man washing his feet in the sink at the chain’s Staten Island Ferry location. Waiting for your permission to upload the TikTok post. Watch the clip… this guy rubs his feet with his hands, right around the corner where thirsty customers order their morning pick-me-up. The New York City Department of Transportation tells TMZ it’s investigating the video… and the New York Post reports that the city’s Department of Health is also involved. Adding another aspect to the situation… some online think this may be wudu, an Islamic practice in which Muslims wash their hands, face, arms and feet as an act of purification before prayer. The New York City Health Department states that food service workers cannot wash their feet in any sink within the establishment… each sink has a specific purpose, and none of them are for washing feet. We’ll have to wait and see if this employee gets away with a warning… or if he really shot his career in the foot.
