GrapheneOS, the modified version of Android that lacks Google while running regular Android apps and adding greater security at the same time, is now working to support upcoming Motorola devices. These will ship with Motorola’s regular Android skin, but you’ll be able to switch to GrapheneOS later if you want, thanks to the cooperation between GrapheneOS and Motorola. This will apply to Motorola’s flagship devices in 2027, starting with a regular non-foldable device, according to GrapheneOS developers who hinted it would be the successor to the Signature. It will be followed by the next-generation Razr Fold and Razr Ultra.
