Marvin Harrison Jr. wasn’t present for Cardinals team meetings on Saturday night

It’s unclear where catcher Marvin Harrison Jr. will play starting next week. It is increasingly clear that he will not play for the Cardinals. Via Josh Weinfuss of ESPN, Harrison was not present at team meetings Saturday night. Harrison has reportedly been told he won’t be active for Sunday’s game against the Lions as the trade is finalized. Some in league circles believe he will be traded to the Texans. Some think the Raiders could be lurking. Sunday’s games could change things, due to the injuries that could occur in the various games. Still, it’s hard to imagine Harrison staying with the Cardinals given these developments. At this point, it’s just a matter of the Cardinals getting the best possible return for the fourth overall pick in the 2024 draft.
