Capcom has released a gameplay trailer for its next DLC character: Arjun. An Indian wrestler and a framed cop on the run is coming to the popular fighting game next month. This trailer, which you can watch below, follows the standard set in previous SF6 trailers by going over each of his normal and special moves, before delving into slick-looking combos and supers. In addition to being a bulky fighter, Arjun has power over both the wind and the earth, using both elements to his advantage. Here’s Arjun’s new trailer in Street Fighter 6. Watch it on YouTube. He also strikes some excellent poses as part of his level three super art, a reference to Bollywood choreography. In the character’s bio found on the Street Fighter 6 website, Bollywood is listed as one of his tastes along with fossil hunting. Apparently undercooked Biryani is something he doesn’t like. Arjun will arrive in Street Fighter 6 on October 13 as part of the game’s fourth seasonal character pass. She comes after Yasmine, another completely new character introduced in the Street Fighter series. The next two are of particular interest, however, as Final Fantasy 7’s Tifa will join the roster in early 2027, while (previously dead) SF6 story mode character Bosch will wrap up the pass next spring. Street Fighter 6 overall continues to do great for Capcom. A recent financial report from the company earlier this year reported record sales for the series, while new releases like Resident Evil: Requiem and Pragmata also exceeded expectations. Capcom seems to be in such a good place that it’s looking to explore its back catalog of hibernating game franchises.
