UFC Edmonton weigh-in results: All fighters make weight

The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s return to Canada is now official following the UFC Edmonton weigh-ins. The middleweight main event will see Joaquin Buckley and Mike Malott face off over five rounds. Always professionals, both men had no problems gaining weight. The same can be said for the rest of the 13-bout card, as all 26 fighters hit the mark. Buckley (21-8) looks to defend his top-10 ranking within the promotion. “New Mansa” has struggled recently, with back-to-back losses to Kamaru Usman and Sean Brady derailing his title challenge hopes. The 32-year-old will look to get back on track against the Canadian and weighed in at 170.5 pounds for his third UFC main event. Meanwhile, Malott (14-2-1) looks to pick up the biggest win of his career in his second UFC main event fight. “Proper” is on a four-fight winning streak that includes a TKO victory over Gilbert Burns. At 34 years old, it is now or never for the Team Alpha Male fighter to perform. Malott also weighed 170.5 pounds. UFC Edmonton will stream live on Paramount+ in its entirety. The main card begins at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT, while the prelims begin at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT.
