The Nazi shipwrecks emerging from the Danube

Nazi Shipwrecks – Prahovo, Serbia: At least 20 shipwrecks have been seen from the riverbank in Prahovo, near the border between Serbia and Romania, this summer. Some are still believed to contain weapons or explosives, so it is better to view them from the bank than to approach them. Visibility will change as the river level rises and falls. Woolly mammoth remains – Ruse, Bulgaria: Bones exposed near the village of Ryahovo in July have been recovered by specialists from the Ruse Regional History Museum. After conservation and study, they are expected to be displayed in the museum, about 30 kilometers from where they were found.
