A special Direct for the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda will take place on September 8, Nintendo has just announced. It will air at 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm UK / 4pm Europe. Nintendo says the event will last about 30 minutes. No further details were provided. Of course, one of the main parts of the presentation should be a good look at the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo Switch 2. Fans have been dying for any kind of update on the game since it was announced in June with very little shown. However, 30 minutes is a long time, and it remains to be seen what else will be here. One possibility is the first trailer for the live-action The Legend of Zelda movie, which is set to debut on April 30, 2027.
