Rockstar has officially released its “extended look” for Grand Theft Auto VI on YouTube and its website, as promised. The in-depth preview, which “completely” features captured footage from the PS5 version of the game, initially premiered on Netflix at 3 p.m. ET. But because Rockstar allowed creators to post reaction videos, you were technically able to watch the video on YouTube before the studio officially uploaded it. The nearly 27-minute preview largely focuses more on atmosphere, protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, and highlighting locations in the game rather than delving into specific game mechanics. It looks more like clips from a movie than a video game trailer. But there are some sections that feature playable shootouts and police car chases, as well as activities like shooting a basketball and diving. Other outlets that got trailers from Rockstar have more details about the game that weren’t included in the video. GTA VI will be released on November 19 for a starting price of $79.99.
