Michael Penix, recovering from a 2025 ACL injury, returned to 11-on-11 practice on Monday as Tua Tagovailoa continued to struggle. “I can’t speculate on that kind of stuff,” Stefanski said. “I really want to stay with Mike today and see how he does in practice. I really have to stay in the moment with this one. Let’s see how he feels after today.” Penix completed four of his eight pass attempts in 11-on-11 drills Monday while facing “simulated pressure.” Two of his passes were “noticeably short,” according to Josh Kendall of The Athletic.
