Spectrum customers can get a free internet upgrade this month to download GTA 6 faster. The company announced earlier this week that it would be a free “Gig Speed Lift” from November 9 to 30 for existing customers. This will allow players the opportunity to download the game within 30 minutes. So if you plan to buy the game on the first day or later in November, this will save you a lot of time. Or, if you just want to see the preload complete incredibly quickly, this is also an option. You can click here for more information on how to activate this offer if you are a Spectrum user. GTA 6 pre-load begins on November 10 and will be a real beast in terms of download size. Rockstar has confirmed that the game is 212GB, which is almost a quarter the size of an average PS5 (not counting the space required for the operating system and other must-have items on the console). Since fans anticipate a fairly massive open world with plenty to see and do, the size makes sense. As a result, fans will want to make the most of the nine-day pre-load window or take advantage of this Spectrum offer to be able to play as soon as possible. GTA 6 Launch Screenshots We’re officially just two weeks away from the launch of GTA 6. Rockstar released 39 new screenshots from the game today, showing Vice City, Jason and Lucia in action, and plenty of crime. Screenshots also revealed that rapper Kodak Black would be in the game as an NPC, which has fueled speculation that other music artists would be in the game. Characters like Dr Dre, Phil Collins and others have featured prominently in-game in other GTA titles, so it’s not hard to imagine some celebrities in a modern Vice City. It’s unclear what else Rockstar has up its sleeve as we get closer to launch, as it released what appears to be the final trailer back in October. Some fans are hoping to hear about PS5 Pro updates ahead of launch, but beyond that, it looks like we’re at the end of this long marketing road.Cade Onder is a freelancer on IGN’s news team.
