Samsung is teasing a new entrant to the Galaxy S26 series at an event on August 27, but it probably won’t be as exciting. In a brief announcement, Samsung confirms an event scheduled for August 27, about a week away. The virtual-only event will take place at 8 a.m. ET / 5 a.m. PT and will be streamed live on YouTube. The budget device is expected to adopt an updated design to match the rest of the series, but leaked specifications suggest it will be largely unchanged from last year’s Galaxy S25 FE, which barely changed from the previous generation.
