Several Nintendo rumors have come to light from malo932, who is gaining some credibility when it comes to leaks. More recently, malo932 indicated that we would be receiving submissions next week for The Legend of Zelda and Nintendo in general days before they were announced. That finally turned out to be true, as two Directs were confirmed yesterday. malo932 most recently claimed that a new Super Smash Bros. game is in development, which we can safely assume would be for the Nintendo Switch 2. On the one hand, this is a safe and easy prediction. On the other hand, that has not yet been announced and this would indicate that it is not a port or something of that nature. Something that might be more interesting and less certain is that Nintendogs is apparently returning. Regarding that, malo932 joked: Weird and cozy games are strong at Nintendo, and maybe another “forgotten” weird and cozy Nintendo series is coming back, barking. Wink wik, woof woofmalo932 also previously shared the following: – Star Fox “adventure” game coming soon – Super Metroid remake is near – New Wario Land title coming soon (possibly 2027) [not the first time we’re hearing about a potential Wario game]– New 3D Mario game probably in 2027. We share these rumors mainly because of malo932’s story. Although NateTheHate received most of the credit for leaks earlier this year about the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, malo932 was right about that too. This person also said that a new Switch Sports game was on the way, which turned out to be Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. And as we mentioned before, malo932 was right about the upcoming performances. Since we’re already on the topic of rumors, we’ll include another one here. DanielRPK says the first trailer for the live-action The Legend of Zelda movie will be released next week. However, that’s not a huge surprise given the series’ upcoming presentation on Tuesday.
