The Raiders plan to play their starters in Thursday’s preseason matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. “We have a plan for those guys and how many plays or series we would like them to do,” Klint Kubiak said Tuesday. “Not everyone needs to know, but we’re going to have a lot of guys playing in this game. We need to evaluate the entire roster.” As for rookie Fernando Mendoza, Kubiak expects him to gain “a lot of game experience,” but again, he didn’t divulge any further details. “I hope to see him there with his teammates,” the head coach said. “We need to test a lot of guys, but they’re going to get a lot of reps.”
