A combination of bad play, bad luck, and bad strategy has put the Americans in this hole. Team captain Brandt Snedeker will look to rally the United States off to a fast start, eliminating Cameron Young, Wyndham Clark, Justin Thomas and Scottie Scheffler in the first four matches in hopes of gaining some momentum to inspire the next eight players.
