Samsung finally started rolling out the One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy S26 series a few days ago, after months of beta testing. The update, which debuted in Korea on September 16, was accompanied by official announcements on various Samsung portals. Interestingly, Samsung Thailand’s announcement in the newsroom about One UI 9.0 was a little more revealing than others. Not only did he confirm the launch of One UI 9 for the S26 series in Korea, but he also mentioned the Galaxy S25 line, Galaxy Z7 foldables, and even the Galaxy S23 FE. Additionally, Samsung Thailand may have revealed the official release dates of One UI 9.0 for the global market, not just Korea. The Galaxy S26 One UI 9 launch on September 21 is the day the Galaxy S26 series will receive One UI 9.0 in Thailand and possibly other regions beyond South Korea. Yes, the update is now available in Samsung’s home country, but other regions will receive it later. One UI 8 also arrived a few days later elsewhere than in Korea, and we’re now seeing a similar pattern. Galaxy S25, Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 launch One UI 9 Samsung Thailand also says that the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 will receive One UI 9.0 on September 28. Galaxy S23 FE One UI 9 launched Finally, even the Galaxy S23 FE received a mention, despite its age. According to the Thai newsroom post, One UI 9.0 is coming to the Galaxy S23 FE in October. Through this announcement, Samsung may have revealed the global launch plans for its One UI 9. Either that, or the dates are strictly for Thailand. It’s equally likely, considering that no other Samsung portal besides Thailand went into as much detail about the dates. The company seems confident in its release plans, but still, given the unusual way this information came to us through a single newsroom portal, it could be a tentative plan that is still subject to change.
