NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 series “Blackwell” gaming graphics cards are expected to see significant price adjustments this week. According to Chinese ChannelGate, add-on card (AIC) partners have confirmed that price increases are scheduled as continued demand for these GPUs outstrips supply. Some major AIC partners, such as Colorful and Galax, have reportedly already started sharing information about these price increases. The most significant example is expected to be SKUs based on NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5090 DV2, which will see an increase of up to RMB 3,300, which will translate to almost $500. Even entry-level GPUs aren’t exempt, as the GeForce RTX 5060 is expected to see a price increase of around $30 on existing models. These changes are expected to roll out this week for retail partners, meaning it could take a week or two for consumer prices to reflect the new listing prices. Below is the list of price increases in China, which are expected to be the norm everywhere. RTX 5090 DV2: 2200-3300 RMB ($329-$494); RTX 5080: 2500-2800 RMB ($374-$419); 600-900 RMB ($90-$135); RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB: 250-400 RMB ($37-$60); RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB: 100-150 RMB ($15-$22); and Intel GPUs are not affected by this immediate price increase. However, AMD’s Radeon graphics cards are expected to see another price increase this month. The main factors that explain these price increases are the limited supply of memory and the significant increase in the cost of raw materials used in production, such as copper.
