On Monday afternoon, the NFL abandoned its entire list of waiver claims after Sunday’s drawdown day. The Detroit Lions did not receive anyone off waivers and, more importantly, no Lions players were claimed off waivers. As a reminder, a player who is cut goes on waivers if he has had three or fewer accumulated seasons in the NFL. If they are claimed, they go to that team with their current contract. If they are unclaimed, they become unrestricted free agents who can sign with any team they wish, including practice squads. The following Lions players were waived and cleared on waivers and are therefore eligible to sign with Detroit’s practice squad:
