2026-11-05T20:54:29.101Z Amazon Ocarina pre-orders delayed (Image credit: Nintendo) I’ve seen some reports that Amazon is suddenly delaying Ocarina of Time pre-orders by almost a week. To put it mildly, people are not happy. Did you pre-order through Amazon? Are you seeing delivery delays? Let me know in the comments or send me an email. 2026-11-05T20:42:42.962Z Zelda console has disappeared from Walmart (Image credit: Shutterstock) Our link to the Zelda console is broken and no longer goes to a page for the special edition Switch 2. I tried searching for the console at Walmart and nothing shows up. I tried links on other sites that now redirect to the Ocarina of Time remake. I’ll be keeping an eye on things, but for now Walmart has removed the 40th Anniversary Pro Console and Controller from its website. 2026-11-05T20:14:49.023Z Forget about consoles, what about controllers? (Image credit: Nintendo) The console was out of stock for a minute and there was no real replenishment. I decided to check out the Pro drivers in case any of them were available. Unfortunately, I don’t see it available anywhere. But I’ll keep looking in case it appears. 2026-11-05T19:36:04.138Z Two editions of the Ocarina of Time cover (Image credit: Nintendo) Did you know that there are two cover variants of the physical edition of Ocarina of Time? There is a textured metallic version and a normal one. You will know which one you have if the letters on the spine are gold (foil) or white (normal). As of this posting, here’s what the different retailers are offering.Foil Cover: Standard Edition: 2026-11-05T19:07:56.532Z A quick check on the UK (Image credit: Nintendo) Major UK retailers have been out of stock for most of the day, but I checked again in case anyone is trying to get their hands on one before dinner. Of the retailers I checked, Argos may have a few, but you’ll need to enter your postcode to check. I tried several London and Bradford codes just to see, but all of those locations were sold out. 2026-11-05T18:48:20.164Z Reminder: Target Stock Falls Tomorrow (November 6) (Image Credit: Shutterstock) We mentioned it above, but as a reminder, if Target is your preferred or closest retailer, the company is out of stock today. However, Target previously confirmed that it will open sales on Friday (Nov. 6). That said, I found claims on Reddit that some stores were selling consoles today. However, it seems they sold out quickly. 2026-11-05T18:18:10.922Z Official Ocarina – sold out (Image credit: Nintendo) Nintendo is selling an official playable Ocarina from the Ocarina of Time remake for $34.99. As I understand it, it really works. Unfortunately, it’s already out of stock, but I’ll keep an eye on things in case it shows up again. 2026-11-05T17:47:51.103Z Retailer Sweep (Image credit: Tom’s Guide) Stock doesn’t last long. I just posted about the official Nintendo store twenty minutes ago and the Zelda console is already sold out. With that in mind, let’s take a look at all the retailers right now. It should be noted that GameStop is only available in-store. I checked my area and was told no stores within a 100 mile radius had stock. You may have better luck. Also, Walmart has third party sellers so you may see some availability, but they are also jacking up the price up to $700. I recommend you avoid them. 2026-11-05T17:18:15.411Z Zelda Switch 2 on the official Nintendo store (Image credit: Nintendo) If you prefer to get your gear directly from the source, it looks like the 40th Anniversary Switch 2 is available on the official Nintendo store. Check out Nintendo Switch 2 – The Legend of Zelda – 40th Anniversary Edition for $519.99 on the Nintendo Store. 2026-11-05T16:57:39.511Z Walmart already has the Pro controller out of stock! (Image credit: Shutterstock) Hopefully, you managed to secure a Zelda Pro controller if it was on your wish list during Walmart’s restocking. For my part, the retailer is once again displaying the dreaded “out of stock” message. I’m already looking out for more reruns! 2026-11-05T16:11:18.042Z Target (re)confirms Zelda Switch 2 restock this week! (Image credit: Target) Last week, Target confirmed that it would be restocking the Zelda Switch 2 console on Friday, November 6 via an update to its listing page, before removing said update, raising fears that the restocking had been delayed. Good news! The message is back, Target will be restocking tomorrow (November 6) and on the same day they will also restock the console in store. This way you can try both at your nearest Target and online. 2026-11-05T15:24:50.288Z Zelda Switch 2 Pro Controller IN STOCK at Walmart! It’s not the console, but you can purchase the Zelda-themed Switch 2 Pro controller at Walmart. However, the page already has a “low stock” warning, so don’t expect it to last long. If you want this nifty Switch 2 accessory, get it now. 2026-11-05T15:01:42.181Z An amazing Ocarina of Time offer for UK players! (Image credit: Nintendo) If you’re in the UK and haven’t yet purchased your copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, you can currently pick it up for £54 on Amazon. That’s a saving of £5. It’s not a huge discount, but any kind of deal on a new release is pretty rare! Unfortunately, on Amazon US, the game is listed at its standard MSRP of $69. In fact, it appears that Ocarina is so popular that Amazon is having stock issues and new orders aren’t expected to arrive until November 12 and 13. Then you might want to get it digitally. 2026-11-05T13:44:10.859Z What is your favorite Zelda game? There’s nothing new to report on the restock yet, so to pass the time, tell me what your favorite Legend of Zelda game is in the poll above! I’d personally choose Breath of the Wild, but there are several classic Zelda games I still need to play. 2026-11-05T12:48:51.305Z Your best chance at getting a Zelda Switch 2 is (probably) not online! (Image credit: Tom’s Guide) As America begins to wake up, it’s worth noting that your best chance of getting a Zelda Switch 2 today appears to be in-store rather than online. We know that Target, Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop have restocked in stores, although social media suggests that most of the inventory sold out during several midnight launch events. However, if you live near a retailer and don’t mind taking the risk, you’ll want to go in person and try your luck! 2026-11-05T12:08:26.045Z You could be playing Ocarina of Time now! (Image credit: Nintendo) It’s release day for Ocarina of Time. The game is now available and players are taking their first steps in this visually stunning new version. If you haven’t purchased your copy yet, what are you waiting for? I’ll be diving into my newly arrived copy soon, but fear not, I’ll still be here for several more hours tracking down the Switch 2 restock! 2026-11-05T11:19:02.300Z There is nothing to report at this time! (Image credit: Tom’s Guide) Not much of an update here, but the current situation is that there is nothing to report. I just did my latest retail sweep and see no stock in either the US or the UK, the Zelda Switch 2 is still out of stock pretty much everywhere (unless you’re willing to pay a huge markup to a reseller). I’ll keep checking, of course, and hopefully as the US starts to wake up we’ll see more activity. 2026-11-05T10:42:27.749Z Is the Ocarina of Time remake worth it? (Image credit: Nintendo) While we wait (hopefully) for more Zelda Switch 2 restocks, why not check out our Ocarina of Time review? Our reviewer was very impressed with the game, saying, “It’s a pleasure to revisit The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time from start to finish thanks to its gorgeous 4K visuals, full orchestral soundtrack, and sleek modern controls,” and gave it an “Editor’s Choice.” So I guess it was worth the wait! 2026-11-05T10:08:19.048Z Target confirms an online replenishment… or not? (Image credit: Target) Currently, the only confirmation of a Zelda Switch 2 restock online comes from Target. Last week, the retailer updated its listing page confirming more stock in store today (November 5) and online tomorrow (November 6). But here’s the problem: this message, which you can see in my screenshot above, has already been deleted. Does this mean Target won’t have online restocking on Friday? We will have to wait to find out. But for now, I still think Target is the retailer to watch. 2026-11-05T09:50:16.523Z Midnight Release Events in Store Offer Restocking! (Image credit: Nintendo) In a welcome throwback, many retailers including Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop (as well as Argo in the UK) held midnight launch events for Zelda: Ocarina of Time last night. Looking at my social media, it seemed like a lot of places were also stocking the Zelda Switch 2 console at these events. This could mean retailers are out of stock, but I expect these in-store drops to be followed by new opportunities to secure a console (and Pro controller) online later today. 2026-11-05T09:39:23.548Z Welcome! (Image credit: Nintendo) Good morning! It’s finally here, today the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time launches on Switch 2, and while that’s very exciting. Many Nintendo fans are hoping that day will also bring restocks of the limited edition Zelda Switch 2 console, and I’m here to keep a close eye on retailers in case stocks drop.
