A new Apple TV 4K will be unveiled tomorrow as part of Apple’s ‘Welcome Home’ event. Here are five updates it’s rumored to bring. Here are all the updates the new Apple TV 4K is rumored to bring. This Tuesday, October 13, Apple will hold its ‘Welcome Home’ event where it will unveil several long-awaited home products. One of them is a new Apple TV 4K, the device’s first update since 2022. Here are five new features that are supposedly coming: A19 chip, compared to the current A15 Bionic Siri AI Microphone built into the Apple TV box for Siri Updated Siri Remote with built-in speaker N1 wireless chip The A19 chip should make the Apple TV 4K perform better than the current hardware and offer a significant improvement over the A15 in the 2022 model. Importantly, it will also add support for Siri AI. As is clear from the feature list above, Siri AI is a central focus of the new Apple TV. Siri won’t just get a software upgrade. It will also be easier to interact with it thanks to the microphone built into the Apple TV 4K box. Like a HomePod, this will allow you to interact with Siri entirely via voice, without needing to press the button on the Siri remote. I suspect you’ll even be able to ask Siri to find the remote, and it will play a noise on the new Siri Remote so you can find where you left it. The N1 wireless chip is expected to enable greater reliability with features like AirDrop and could tie in with other Apple Home-related feature improvements. Beyond these five updates, Apple could always surprise us with new features that have not yet been rumored. We will keep you updated on all announcements as they develop this week.
