Joey Logano, Alex Bowman and a couple others took the wavearound during the stage break, and they’ll be able to get new tires on now. Without a caution, those drivers would have been lapped in 10-15 laps. Teams are saying the pit stops will be non-competitive because pit road is not dry. Most feel comfortable with the idea of slicks.SVG has grown a lead of 7 seconds with lap times somewhere between 0.5-1 second faster than the rest of the top 10. Tyler Reddick goes a lap downSVG is lapping cars, up to 30th now. That includes Tyler Reddick.Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin are among those in danger of going a lap down soon. Lap 27: SVG to the leadWilliam Byron slips, and Shane van Gisbergen takes advantage to take the lead. Byron’s team reminds him to the take care of the right-front tire. Sounded like Byron entered the corner a little higher than usual before his slip-up. Lap 22: John Hunter Nemechek spins, race remains greenJohn Hunter Nemechek spins into turn 3, but the race remains green. Nemechek swiped the outside wall before going around, but he gets back going.Nemechek goes a lap down a couple laps later. He was running 25th before the spin. Tyler Reddick remains in lastTyler Reddick remains in 36th, a half-lap behind the leader. He is running about a half-second off of 35th.No surprise that the driver who spun in these conditions would be a little hesitant to push things. Dry lines starting to formYou can see the drying race lines through the turns and the straightaways. Of course, since the field isn’t running in the normal race groove through the turns, it may be a little while before a return to slick tires.But once the lines dry out completely, cars will search for some wetter spots for grip. William Byron grabs the lead ahead of Shane van Gisbergen, Ty Gibbs, Josh Berry and Christopher Bell.Most are either running the apron OR the two lanes above the darker pavement through the turns. Green flag! But not for long!The drivers sprawl out across the track on the green flag. But the field does not complete a full lap as leader Tyler Reddick spins from the top lane off of turn 4. Drivers concerned about couple areas on the trackMost of the small puddles are down near the bottom line and under it, according to several drivers on the radio.There were a couple drivers that also mentioned the painted start-finish line as a possible slick spots.Drivers will remain in their cars, and the storm line is moving through the Loudon area.
