The Huawei Watch GT 5 was released in September 2024, while the Huawei Watch GT 6 was released in September 2025. If Huawei sticks to the schedule it has followed in recent years, the launch of the Huawei Watch GT 7 series is expected within the next two months. A first promotional image has now appeared on Chinese social media, purportedly showing the Huawei Watch GT 7 and the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro.
Due to the very low resolution, it’s not possible to examine the design in detail, but the basic shape of all models remains unchanged, and the image’s caption, when translated, suggests that the series’ design language will be carried forward. The image does, however, already indicate that the Huawei Watch GT 7 will likely be offered again in two sizes and various colors. The smartwatch’s metal body will be available in silver, gold, or black, while Huawei is expected to offer straps in white, gray, black, yellow, blue, and pink.
The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to be available in either silver or black, with the included strap coming in yellow, green, or black depending on the version. So far, no details are known regarding the technical innovations the Huawei Watch GT 7 series will feature. The Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro already features a 3,000-nit AMOLED display, a battery life of 24 days, a GPS module, an NFC chip, and even advanced sensors such as an ECG and a depth sensor for diving.
