After a hectic 30 minutes, here’s all the GTA 6 DualSense pre-order links you need. We’re still waiting on something from Amazon, and any signs that Target has more stock (it currently says sold out), and there’s a long queue on PS Direct, but you can head straight to Best Buy, Walmart and GameStop and grab the controller in White. The Black model is exclusive to PS Direct.

Try this queue skip method on PS Direct!
I’m seeing reports online that you can bypass the PlayStation Direct queue by heading to the “What’s New” section and then adding a GTA 6 controller directly to your cart from there. I’m unable to check if this method actually works, but if you’ve got a long wait in the queue, then give it a try!You will (reportedly) need to be signed into a PlayStation account for the “add to cart” button to appear. Briefly returning to the U.K., EE is now taking pre-orders of the GTA 6 DualSense. This is good news because all other major retailers are currently sold out. I can’t say that EE would be the first place I’d check for limited edition gaming items, but hey, if you missed out earlier, go grab one now!

Target’s listing page is already up!
Most retailers haven’t yet launched listings pages for the GTA 6 DualSense, but Target has broken rank, and it’s page is up. You can’t pre-order the controller yet, and there’s a “preorders have sold out” message, but I’m assuming this is an error because there are no reports of the retailer ever taking pre-orders. I expect this page will be updated around 10 a.m. ET.

Just 60 minutes until pre-orders are scheduled to begin in the U.S., but remember, retailers don’t always play by the rules, and an early drop could happen, and the odds suggest that a few (probably Amazon) will go later!

A word of advice, if you’re hoping to secure a GTA 6 DualSense today, don’t bank on the 10 a.m. ET drop timing being wholly accurate.We’ve seen with previous pre-order events that retailers can be unpredictable, sometimes dropping early, sometimes waiting until after the initial rush. Pre-orders could feasibly start pretty much any time from now.
The good news is, if you’re following this live blog, you’re already in the right spot, as I’ll be updating you with all the latest stock information throughout.

Good morning to anybody in the U.S. joining the live blog now. It’s 8 a.m. ET, which means the GTA 6 DualSense pre-order drop is set to arrive Stateside in two hours. However, as we saw in the U.K. already, retailers don’t always stick to these timings. Several went early in the U.K., so I’m watching all the major U.S. retailers now and will keep you updated the moment pre-orders go live!

I’ll be turning my attention to the US next, with the pre-order drop set for 10 a.m. ET Stateside, but I’m still keeping an eye on the situation in the UK, and with retailers selling out and restocking and then selling out again, here’s where we currently stand:
So, essentially, the White model is currently sold out across retailers, but we have seen a few retailers “sell out” and then restock, so keep checking. Meanwhile, the Black controller is still available (and is exclusive to PS Direct). But I wouldn’t bank on this sticking around long, so get yours ASAP.
Amazon is the main retailer to watch in the UK. It has a listing page for the GTA 6 DualSense but hasn’t opened pre-orders yet. This isn’t abnormal; Amazon often drops its stock later than its retailer rivals. So, if you’re hoping to score the GTA-themed pad in White, I suggest keeping Amazon open.

Currys is currently ‘out of stock’!

While other retailers, like Argos and Smyths Toys have restocked, Currys is now saying “out of stock.” The retailer held strong for several hours, but at least for now, it’s allocation has run dry. I’ll keep watching for restocks, but fear not, if you haven’t locked in a pre-order yet, you’ve got plenty of options.

Earlier this morning, Smyths Toys appeared to sell out the GTA 6 DualSense, but seemingly the retailer found some more stock, because the “delivery” button has turned green, and you can now pre-order it again. Be quick!

Looks like PS Direct’s stock is reaching its limit. I’m now getting a “currently unavailable” message on the GTA 6 DualSense controller, but surprisingly, it’s on the White model.The Black one is exclusive to PS Direct, so I expect it to be the first to sell out, but it would appear the White model is the more popular of the two. For now, you can still grab the GTA 6 DualSense in Black on PS Direct, but it might only be a matter of minutes before it also sells out.
Meanwhile, if you want the controller in white, I’m still able to add it to my cart on Currys. But again, this stock may not stick around much longer.

The situation has taken a mysterious turn. I just refreshed PlayStation Direct to do my latest stock level check, and the GTA 6 DualSense controllers appear to have disappeared from the retailer’s DualSense page. The only limited edition pads I’m seeing now are the two Wolverine controllers.Could this be a sign of a sell-out, or is PlayStation Direct being crushed with so many people trying to buy that the site can’t handle the load? Fortunately, the direct links to the listing pages below are still working, but it does appear that PS Direct is becoming a little unstable as shoppers try to check out.

It appears that stock is starting to stumble in the UK, I’ve done my latest stock check, and it looks like Argos has now sold out. You can still add the controller to your cart, but there is no option for either collection or delivery. I’m still able to see stock at Currys and PS Direct, but don’t expect this to stick around for long. If you want a GTA 6 DualSense, now is the time to pre-order!

We knew this controller would be popular. I’m still able to add to my cart on Currys and Argos, but who knows how long these will hold.

Hello to anybody just joining us now that 10 a.m. BST has arrived. PlayStation Direct is now taking pre-orders but there’s a long virtual queue in place. If you want to pre-order the GTA 6 DualSense in White, you’ve got plenty of options in the U.K. right now (see links below). However, so far, I’ve not spotted any retailers that is offering the Black version.Perhaps this one will be exclusive to PlayStation Direct? That is a strategy PlayStation has used before during limited-edition pre-order drops. PlayStation likes to keep at least one item exclusive to its own online storefront (it did similar during the Wolverine PS5 range pre-order drop).
If you’re holding out for the GTA 6 DualSense in Black, PS Direct is set to take pre-orders from 10 a.m. BST, and I’m watching closely for any retailer listings for this one!
