Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said officers were called around 6:15 p.m. Saturday to Leon Day Park on North Franklintown Road. Worley said officers rendered aid and the victims were taken to hospitals, where the girl died. “A 12-year-old girl, who was probably there watching football, was shot and killed,” Worley said. “My thoughts and prayers are with the family, the community and our city.
