YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — More than a dozen units were called to an apparently falsely-reported fire at a York County nursing home, emergency dispatchers said.
An employee at the nursing home claims the fire never happened and that a fire extinguisher went off inside the facility, prompting the response.
The call came in around 4:24 a.m. to Yorkview Nursing and Rehabilitation on Colonial Avenue, according to emergency personnel.
The employee said no one was evacuated from the facility.
