Dodge is turning 90 years of Mopar into a factory-built special edition. The automaker revealed the ’27 Dodge Charger Mopar, a limited package built for the two-door Charger R/T and Charger Scat Pack Plus ahead of its public debut at SEMA. The package adds carbon fiber body parts, unique graphics, and a serialized anniversary plate. The engines remain intact. Only 270 cars will carry it, with dealer orders opening in January 2027. The ’27 Mopar package is all about styling and customization, a pattern consistent with factory-built Mopar specials of the past. Darren Bradshaw, Stellantis senior vice president of parts and services for North America, said the package “showcases our passion for customization and performance while celebrating nine decades of helping enthusiasts make their vehicles uniquely theirs.” What the ’27 Mopar Package Adds Mopar ’27 Limited Edition Dodge Charger Package Dashboard Badge Photo by: Dodge Visual changes start at the front with a direct-attach carbon fiber splitter and a carbon fiber hood with a functional air scoop, combined with a cold air intake system that feeds the engine underneath. A carbon fiber rear spoiler and unique side graphics complete the exterior treatment. Inside, owners get a unique badge on the dash and under the hood is a serialized ’27 Mopar 90th Anniversary plaque mounted on the radiator shut-off panel. Each car also ships with an owner’s kit: a personalized certificate of authenticity bearing the build number and a rendering of the vehicle from the Mopar design team. Buyers choose from three exterior colors: Bludicrous, Diamond Black and White Knuckle, with 90 units allocated to each. That production split is itself a nod to the 90th anniversary for which the pack was built. The Mopar ’27 Charger follows a long line of similar factory-built specials, starting with the Mopar ’10 Dodge Challenger and extending to Chargers, Durangos, and even a Mopar-badged Ram 1500 RHO. It’s the fourth Charger to get the full treatment since 2011. Pricing, Power and Production Figures Mopar ’27 Dodge Charger Marks 90 Years Photo by: Dodge The package costs $10,995 regardless of which Charger it’s added to, and both configurations maintain their standard all-wheel drive with an on-demand rear-drive mode. Neither model gains horsepower over the Charger’s standard equipment level. The Charger R/T starts with its SIXPACK 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six-cylinder that produces 420 horsepower, hits 60 mph in 4.6 seconds, and covers the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds. It is the most accessible entry point to the limited race. Scat Pack Plus buyers get the same 3.0-liter engine built with fully forged internals and larger twin 54-millimeter Garrett turbos, raising output to 550 horsepower. That drops the 0-60 mph time to 3.9 seconds and the quarter-mile to 12.2 seconds, along with leather performance seats, 20-by-11-inch wheels, and the Carbon and Suede package. Of the total of 270 units, 243 are destined for the US market and 27 for the Canadian market. Production begins in spring 2027. Dodge will also show a Moparized Ram 1500 Rumble Bee project truck at SEMA with Direct Connect concept parts, including a custom hood with a clear window that reveals its supercharger.
