Cowboys vs. Packers live updates, inactives, where to watch: Dak Prescott, Jordan Love face off on ‘Sunday Night Football’ in Week 6

The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers will close out NFL Week 6 on Sunday in primetime, with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET at Lambeau Field. The Cowboys enter Week 6 at 2-3, but with a wide open NFC East as every team within the division has struggled. The New York Giants fell 34-27 to the New Orleans Saints in the early Sunday window, while the Eagles fell to the Carolina Panthers without quarterback Jalen Hurts, who ended up on injured reserve this week with a blood clot in his leg. As the defense continues to struggle this season, the pressure is on Dak Prescott & Co. on offense to make some magic. The Packers come into this game two games behind the undefeated Minnesota Vikings after a slow start to the season. However, they bounced back in a big way with a dominant division win over the Chicago Bears last week, where quarterback Jordan Love showed off his deep ball skills, with Christian Watson and Matthew Golden being key weapons in the passing game. Absent from this matchup is star defensive end Micah Parsons, who continues to recover from a torn ACL last season. Although he was aiming to return in Week 6 against his former team, he has not yet been activated to the roster and is practicing with the team this season. Cowboys offensive tackle Broderick Jones was messing with some of the Packers’ defensive linemen, according to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky. But Joey Porter Jr. was also among the Cowboys involved in the melee, perhaps also linebacker Jaishawn Barham and tight end Jake Ferguson, ESPN’s Todd Archer said. 11:50 PM UTCIan Casselberry The Dallas Cowboys bring one of the worst defenses in the NFL to Sunday’s matchup against the Green Bay Packers, ranking 30th in the league in yards allowed. That led Dallas to hire veteran defensive coach Mike Pettine as a senior assistant to help defensive coordinator Christian Parker. Pettine had Parker on his staff when he was the Packers’ DC. The Cowboys could do better against a Green Bay offense that ranks last in rushing. Although Dallas is the last to fight the run, which unit will give in? The Packers are third in total passing yards, while the Cowboys defense ranks 21st in that category, so that could be the difference in this game.
