At least 16 people have died in a bus accident in eastern Egypt, according to the country’s Ministry of Health. Another 28 people were injured on the road between the Red Sea cities of Dahab and Nuweiba in the South Sinai governorate on Wednesday morning. About 20 ambulances were sent to the crash site to provide first aid and evacuate the injured, the ministry said. The cause of the accident remains unknown.
