Apple on Instagram today shared a curated gallery of six photos taken with the iPhone Duo. The photographs were taken by American photographers Jake Michaels and Jason Nocito, as part of a project commissioned by Apple. The iPhone Duo is equipped with four cameras: A 48-megapixel rear Fusion main camera A 48-megapixel rear ultra-wide camera A front-facing 12-megapixel Center Stage camera on the outer display A front-facing camera below the inner display The iPhone Duo lacks a dedicated telephoto camera, which is a deal-breaker for some customers. The main camera has “optical-quality 2× telephoto” capabilities, but this pales in comparison to the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro models, which can achieve up to 8× optical zoom. Still, photos shared by Apple show that the iPhone Duo is still very capable for photography, at least in the hands of expert photographers. You can pre-order the iPhone Duo starting Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. Pacific Time.
