Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released in 2023 and is a very good game with some fun Easter eggs and references hidden in it. But one secret remained hidden, even after the developer who included it in the third-person action game teased fans online about it. Now, someone finally found the secret after entering the Konami code in a menu. In 2025, Respawn UI Director Jordan DeVries cryptically posted on social media about a secret buried in Jedi: Survivor that players had yet to find. “Imagine submitting a UI Easter egg (submitted and approved) in your game that no one has noticed or found yet,” the developer posted last year. That made some players dig into the Soulslike Star Wars sequel in search of this hidden secret. But apparently no one has found it until now, according to DeVries. On November 1, DeVries shared on social media that Twitter user TowerBunga had found the Easter egg after entering the famous Konami code in the Force upgrade menu in Jedi: Survivor. And once entered correctly, a giant space frog appears and eats a strange moon in the sky. It’s a strange but fun secret that took three years to discover. I HAVE IT!!!!!! Congratulations to the Jedi Survivor team on a *very* well-hidden Easter egg https://t.co/aB2Za99XKc pic.twitter.com/rWGa5ca3do — Towerbunga 🔜 SWCLA (@towerbunga) November 1, 2026 On Reddit, DeVries responded to the news that the well-hidden secret had been discovered. “It’s been a long three years…” I always love when fans find secrets and Easter eggs in games many years after their release. It’s a reminder that there are probably still many, many secrets buried in games, all of which are waiting to be found by someone. It’s also a wonderful reminder that even though it seems like the Internet has cataloged everything in every game, there’s still some mystery out there. Who knows? One day, you might stumble upon something no one has seen before in an old game, and your discovery might end up blogged on Kotaku dot com.
