As a result of recent developments in the Nintendo Switch 2 hacking community, several games are being scrapped and data mined for new, unused, or upcoming content. One of those games is Pokémon Pokopia, and we now have a good idea of all the Pokémon coming with the second wave of DLC, due out this year. If you don’t want to be spoiled about the Pokémon coming to the game, both as DLC additions and potentially limited-time events, we recommend skipping this one for now. This information comes from SoulSilverArt, who reposted a message originally posted on Discord. The Pokémon icon sheet from the Pokémon game Pokopia was datamined and there are some Pokémon on it that are not currently listed. game:CaterpieMetapodButterfreeDoduoDodrioSnubbullGranbullDelibirdSkittyDelcattyTurtwigGrotleTorterraCresseliaPetililLilligantFennekinBraixenDelphoxSwirlixSlurpuffMilceryApplinFlappleAppletunDipplinHydrappleAccording to the same leak, a Dipplin and Hydrapple event will supposedly be added to the game before the second wave of DLC. Before the release of DLC 2, there will also be a Thanksgiving-themed event featuring the Applin line and offering Applin-themed items, including kitchen items and plenty of leaves. Additionally, the second DLC will most likely introduce even more limited-time events for the holidays and the New Year; that’s probably why Delibird is on the list, and maybe Cresselia is on it for the New Year’s event. DLC 2 is also said to feature an Alcremie “character”; think along the same lines that Tinkmaster is a “Tinkaton character” and Smearguru is a “Smeargle character.” This is the first time that a DLC in Pokémon Pokopia includes a specific new “Pokémon character,” as there was none in the first wave. In any case, these are all subject to change, of course, and we’ll be hearing more about the second Pokopia DLC before long, if we had to guess. What do you think of these possible new additions? Let us know in the comments below. Please note that this information came to light after the Nintendo Switch 2 was first released. Related
