A Mexican teenager died after falling from a carnival ride, and horrifying video shows her flying out of her seat as the ride reached full speed. Gabriela Rodríguez Tezoco, 18, died Tuesday night after the accident at a festival in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, local media Expreso reported. Cell phone footage taken by another cyclist shows Tezoco falling to the ground from “El Péndulo,” a rotating attraction at the Cabo San Lucas Traditional Fiestas. So far no arrests have been made and no one responsible for the operation of the attraction has been publicly identified. People watch after the accident.
