F1 2026 Singapore GP starting grid with multiple penalties and pitlane starts

Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc will share the front row at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. Below you will find the full starting grid after two grid penalties and with three cars starting from the pitlane due to changes made after qualifying. George Russell’s retirement in Malaysia meant he headed to Singapore knowing he would need to take a series of heavy grid penalties for using new power unit components. That total currently amounts to 40 places. He qualified seventh, but will still start 21st, ahead of Red Bull’s Isack Hadjar, who had multiple reliability issues on Saturday and was unable to set a time in qualifying. The stewards gave him permission to start the race, and he also took new engine components and made setup changes, so he will start from the pitlane. Aston Martin revealed after qualifying that it will change the power unit on Fernando Alonso’s car, and also made changes to the suspension on Alonso and Lance Stroll’s cars, meaning pitlane starts for both as well.
