With New York Comic Con 2026 already underway, several notable actors, especially those in Marvel projects, will be hitting the red carpets and stage events over the next few days. With a new Daredevil series on the horizon, it’s no surprise that Charlie Cox is one of those actors. What was surprising was the preview of the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 voice actor for a mysterious Sega game for which he has already recorded a lot of dialogue. Earlier this year, Cox shared that he would be starring in more gaming projects following his experience in last year’s award-winning role-playing game. Speaking to IGN at NYCC, Cox confirmed that he had been working on an unspecified new Sega game. The role also appears to be a big one and required the Daredevil actor to adopt an American accent without much prior preparation. How are you?’ he recalled in the interview. “And everyone said, ‘…oh, he’s English.’ They wanted me to be American. But now I have to do 40 hours of lines that I haven’t prepared in an accent.” With these few details, fans on social media have already begun to speculate. The most obvious possibility that comes to mind for many is Persona 6. With so many lines needing to be recorded and the game’s recent official trailers coming over the summer, some fans are hoping that the actor will play a role in the latest entry in Atlus’ hit JRPG series. That said, there’s also a chance that the game in question hasn’t even been announced. Still, and Cox even says that the game “has no name yet,” that could very well be the case. Having won several awards for his stellar performance as Gustave in Expedition 33, it’s good to know that Cox will be back involved in another major game project in the near future.
