MacBook Pro With OLED Display Rumored to Be ‘Significantly Lighter’

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said today that the new MacBook Pro models with OLED displays will be “significantly lighter” than existing MacBook Pro models. “Apple has redesigned the inside of the machine, miniaturizing parts and rearranging components to make the computer much easier to transport,” it said in its Power On newsletter. Currently, the MacBook Pro weighs up to 4.7 pounds, while the MacBook Air weighs up to 3.3 pounds and the MacBook Neo weighs 2.7 pounds.
