Miranda Lambert reveals fights with Ella Langley made ‘Dandelion’ better

The country superstar revealed that she and the “Choosin’ Texas” singer clashed while working together, and Lambert said the disagreements were actually a sign that they were on the right path. “If we didn’t fight at the end of this, we probably didn’t do it right,” Lambert recalled telling Langley during an appearance on the New York Times’ “Popcast.” CLEAR ADVICE TO A RISING COUNTRY STAR IN A SURPRISE BATHROOM ENCOUNTER Langley and Lambert worked together as co-writers on the song “Choosin’ Texas.” Lambert also produced Langley’s “Dandelion” album. Creating a record is not… I mean, it’s a long journey, you know what I mean? And there are a lot of emotions,” Lambert said. She laughed at the question. “Yeah. I mean… it’s her name. But yeah, I felt like it was a good balance of songs bouncing off each other, saying, ‘That’s too far in a way,’ or ‘That doesn’t fit the record,’ whatever. And I love that she trusted me with that. I really do.” “Choosin’ Texas” has become a record-breaking hit for Langley.
