The latest Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch firmware update is now available, and those who own these two systems can download version 23.0.1 right now. Today’s patch attempts to address a previous issue. With version 23.0.0, some games would take a long time to start, pause, or close. This update is intended to fix that specifically. The official notice from Nintendo is as follows: Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch Update Patch Notes Version 23.0.1 General Fixed an issue in system version 23.0.0 where the software would occasionally take a long time to start, pause, or close. Version 23.0.0, which shipped earlier this month, was pretty massive. It included new features, improvements and more. Among the highlights are support for VRR in docked mode, Mii Maker music, and improvements to GameChat. This is just the tip of the iceberg, but you can get all the details on this update here in case you missed it. For details on previous Nintendo system updates, head here. Related
