MACON, Ga. Watch here: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that injured 11 people at Carolyn Crayton Park in Macon early Sunday morning. The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb 911 Emergency Center shortly after midnight. Sunday. Officers were responding to the park to investigate reports of a shooting during a large gathering. While en route, officers received reports of several victims arriving at a local medical facility in personal vehicles to receive treatment for gunshot wounds. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, four 18-year-old men, five 17-year-old men and two 18-year-old women were treated for injuries. Medical personnel reported that an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old man are in critical condition. The remaining nine victims are in stable condition. The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is working to determine what led up to the shooting. Investigators have not released additional details about a possible suspect or suspects.
