Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart left Monday night’s game early with a knee injury and did not return. Apparently it wasn’t his choice. Via Jordan Raanan of ESPN, Dart wanted to return to the game. Obviously, the Giants wouldn’t allow it. ESPN’s Laura Rutledge added that the Giants ultimately took Dart’s uniform, preventing his return. He also said his limp is “very slight.” The specific diagnosis remains to be seen. Lip readers have spotted an interaction between coach John Harbaugh and a staff member during which Harbaugh is possibly told that Dart will be out 4-6 weeks. That period of time could indicate a medial collateral ligament injury. Obviously, however, no one knows for now. And the official diagnosis will presumably come Tuesday, after Dart has an MRI.
