The Dallas Cowboys came away with a big NFC East win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday 37-20, but one player got a little more than he bargained for during the game. Cowboys cornerback Cobie Durant was in the secondary trying to defend Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin in the end zone in the second quarter. Bell stepped on Durant’s butt and groin, causing more pain than the cornerback was already feeling. Durant was on the ground for a few moments trying to recover. Finally, the Cowboys coaches helped him up. He left the game and did not return. He had 141 tackles and seven interceptions in 61 games. He had a tackle and a pass deflection in last week’s loss to the New York Giants. Meanwhile, the Cowboys held the Commanders to 10 points in the second half when Daniels suffered a dislocated elbow. Dallas forced a fumble on Dyami Brown: it was the only turnover of the game.
