MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) – A University of South Carolina football player who graduated from Cross High School was arrested early Monday morning, according to the Moncks Corner Police Department. Caden Ramsey, 19, was reportedly arrested after being caught running on a public road, a preliminary arrest search shows. Ramsey is a freshman tight end who enrolled at USC in the summer of 2026. His profile on the USC football website indicates that he led the Cross High School Trojans to an 11-2 record in 2025 and earned a berth in the Class A Lower State state championship game. He was also selected to play in the Carolinas Shrine Bowl and named to the Class A all-state team by the South Carolina Football Coaches Association.
