The developers behind the new video game “Halloween” just released a twisted minigame that allowed an iconic character to have sex with high school students. The game, which is based on the slasher film franchise, was offered for early access on September 4 to online users who can play as different characters seeking to escape mass murderer Michael Meyers. But gameplay clips quickly show that the character Dr. Loomis, a 56-year-old character inspired by the much-loved late actor Donald Pleasence, could have sexual relationships with teenage characters. X / @TheOnlyMonto The game’s developers, IllFonic, removed the sex mini-game feature entirely on Sunday. “I think they forgot to do it so Loomis couldn’t screw around,” one player said on social media after the clips went viral. “The image of the dead 70-year-old actor, fucking teenager, has to be repaired, right?” said another before they removed the minigame. The minigame allowed two players to enter closets and other hidden areas to evade the murderer. While hidden, one player could press a button to make a move on the other, and if the second player consented, both players had to fill an on-screen heart meter by pressing the buttons together. The developers of “Halloween” removed the controversial minigame from the game. * Players immediately noticed the change and took to sites like Reddit and X to complain about the minigame’s removal. Representatives for IllFonic, the game’s developers, did not respond to the Post’s request for comment. The game is scheduled for general release to the general public on September 8.
