1 dead, 1 wounded in Arden-Arcade shooting, Sacramento police say SACRAMENTO, Calif. — One woman was killed and another wounded in a shooting in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento Saturday afternoon, according to police. Sacramento police said officers responded to the 1700 block of Arden Way around 3:30 p.m. and found two gunshot victims at the scene. One of them was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to an area hospital. Bonita Lopez, who was inside Urban Air at the time, told KCRA 3’s Denzen Cortez that the business was full of children and families attending birthday parties when she heard the gunshots. “It was scary.
